GLASS

At a course at the local college in the 1970's, I made a couple of leaded light windows. This gave me an insight into design, glass selection and the cutting of the glass. Lead is ‘H’ shaped, allowing the glass to slot into it, forming the basics of the window. The ‘Tiffany’ method of stained glass, uses foil and solder to join pieces together allowing 3D form to be made, such as jewellery boxes and lamp shades.
